HEART is therapy for young children and their parents/caregivers.

What

HEART provides:

• Counseling for adults in the family to relieve stress, anxiety, or depression.
• Play therapy for the child who may have experienced trauma or stress and is showing concerning behavior.
• Joint therapy for parents and child to support positive interactions and connected relationships.

How

• We can help families experiencing:
  
• Parental depression (being weepy, forgetful, exhausted).
  
• Parental anxiety (excessive worrying, fearful thoughts).
  
• Child behaviorial issues (aggression, excessive crying, withdrawal, developmental regression, etc.).
  
• Difficulty with self-regulation or difficulty in parent-child interactions.
  
• Other behaviors or expressed feelings that concern you
